- Key tasks & responsibilities:
- Responsible for defining and constantly improving the HR Service & Workflow solution based on the ServiceNow (Now) platform.
- Creates a solution that tackles complex challenges using a human-centred design methodology that unlocks business outcomes in the HR service& workflow management area.
- Ensures value realisation and return on investment by governing product development and guiding the HR function through a clear product vision and prioritised backlog
- Improves the usability of HR Service Management by incorporating user research methods to guide the design, development, and refinement of the work.
- Expresses concepts by rapidly wire framing and prototyping scenarios using a combination of tools and digital methods.
- Uses evidence-based research to influence strategic digital product decisions.
- Organises design critiques to solicit feedback and improve design.
- Collaborates with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to refine the UI and workflows of a digital product.
- Embodies a training role in a "Train-the-trainer" approach for Citizen Development training initiatives within the ServiceNow HRSD module.
- Supports digital product teams in defining goals, signals, and metrics for the digital product.
- Encourages and holds up high standards for the digital product experiences.
- Demonstrates awareness of accessibility and industry design standards.
- Serves as an ambassador for Product Design within the org and in the broader design community.
Qualifications & competencies:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Proven experience as Product Designer with the ServiceNow HRSD module
- Experience with IT solution space for HR Service Management (e.g., ICT integration)
- Fluency in best practices for architecture and design of IT products.
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with Ideation and Story Boarding techniques for UX (User Experience) design methodologies
- Communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Hands-on project experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs in a larger implementation context
- Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environments.
- Knowledge about Software Development Life cycle.
- Good Verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong conceptual, quantitative, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds.
