Global Chemical Manufacturing company is looking for a Salesforce Inhouse Lead Consultant for their new technological hub in Barcelona.

It is a leader organization in Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) and specialized Product Solutions (SPS), offering a wide portfolio of products aimed at a variety of end markets.

Our client´s MCS business is a world leader, targeting six target markets: hygiene, home and personal care, paints and coatings, crop protection, material protection and wood protection. MCS draws on industry-leading regulatory expertise, the broadest set of bioactives, and the widest range of registrations in the world, which are critical to maintaining the integrity of its customers' products.

Additionally, their unique SPS business provides high-quality, complex chemical products and technologies to customers in a variety of industries within its three divisions: performance chemicals and intermediates, composite materials, and custom development and manufacturing organization.

The Project:

Currently our client is opening a new Technological Hub from scratch in the plain centre of Barcelona and they are looking for a Salesforce Inhouse Lead Consultant to join the team and act as an IT Solution Lead and/or a Project Manager in Salesforce. The candidate will supervise internal and external Developers and first/second level Support Analysts. They will also control the implementation of Salesforce solutions, Apps, Communities and ensure adherence with our client´s standards and guidelines. Additionally, they will act as Delivery Managers for change requests and projects, contributing to the solution of complex support requests and organizing professional problem management.

Your Responsibilities:

Analyse and prioritize user requirements, advise internal stakeholders in terms of CRM System (Salesforce, Partner Communities), approve concepts and specifications, organize and facilitate workshops, oversee configuration and customization of systems, work out test plans, contribute to the creation of test scripts, test execution and training documentation, lead trainings and data migration activities, control global process and system governance.
Manage the development service in projects. Partner with system development providers, train them in terms of our client´s standards and guidelines, perform the hand-over of technical specifications, advice and monitor the realization of software programming, perform quality control of deliverables.
Organize the integration of system enhancements into existing IT business applications: Liaise with internal customers, ensure testing and transfer into productive operations. Responsible to transfer new applications to the support organization. Delegate common incidents and problems to the IT support organization. Provide 3rd level support for complex incidents. Contribute to the resolution of critical / urgent incidents. Organize professional solution of problems.
Take over accountability for Salesforce. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our client´s IT business applications. Get familiar with newest generation CRM solutions and advise internal partners on innovate IT technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to Apply:

A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (Master Degrees are also highly appreciated)
Proficiency in English is a must (This is a position with international visibility)
+5 years of experience working with Salesforce (a Business orientation is a must)
A high expertise in Salesforce/System configuration and/or customization know-how (Partner Communities, Web2Case, SalesNavigator, Conga, Marketing Automation Tools (e.g. Pardot, Marketo))
Expertise with the integration of ERP systems (SAP)
Excellent understanding of the business processes and concepts being used
Analytical and strong interpersonal skills
Teaching ability
